I’m creating some tips/tricks regarding to iPhone 4s. In order to let my readers understanding easier what I’m writing, I need to capture some screens on my phone and add them in my posts. However, using a professional digital camera is so expensive and unnecessary in this case. Fortunately, iPhone support a simple way to capture its screen and save these pictures to Photos folder on the phone.

In order to take a screen grab, simply press the Home button and On/Off button at the same time then the current screen on your iPhone will be captured and saved in your Photos folder.

1. Home button

After that, go to the Camera Roll by tapping the Photos icon on the Home screen to find the screen shot. And you can use that picture as Wallpaper, send Email, Message, Tweet, etc as a normal picture you took.

Bonus: another tip

We can use this method to save/download photos from other applications like Facebook. Meaning when viewing a Photo on Facebook in full screen, if the current screen is captured then the photo will be captured and saved to our Photos folder.
