There are some reasons to know exactly which version of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome And Safari you are using, they includes checking compatible with a special software/website, debugging or a certain technical issue.

To check the version of browsers above, follow steps below. Note that I’m using the latest version of Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 4.0, Google Chrome 10.0.648.204 and Safari 5.0.4 so the steps may a little bit difference on your side.
